Monday Madness

So I am on this quest right now to save money and to get organized. Apparently the experts say if you are more organized then you'll have a less stressful life. So it seems the clutter in my closets is this hidden stress in my life. So little by little I am de-cluttering! I switched desks at work about 2 weeks ago, it is amazing how much stuff you keep that you don't need. It was such a great feeling to just throw it all away! Old projects....gone, old customer files...good-bye!, old popcorn and tea bags......gross, if i didn't want you as a snack then I certainly don't want you now. So now it is on to organizing the new desk! Here are some super cute office supplies for your enjoyment....All from See Jane Work the Jonathon Adler Collection.

Poolside, Pool Boy...not included.

I love saturdays with nothing to do, it doesn't come often so I've got to take advantage of it. Here is what I would like to be doing today, laying out by one of these gorgeous pool houses. Somehow my condo pool doesn't quite compare. Oh well....a girl can dream!

Sorry for the lack of blogging...

So most of my loyal readers (all 4 of you!) know, that I am in the process of re-vamping the blog. Stay Tuned for some exciting things to come! But in the meantime, enjoy the back porch and if you haven't seen it in person, stop on by and bring a bottle of wine! Pete sure loves it!

Home Farming

So every year about this time, I decide I am going to plant a garden and every year about a month from now I have dead plants. I just don't have all the right info, where to plant, what to plant, when to plant, how much water etc. I ultimately would love to have lovely flowers that I could pick and make beautiful arrangements. I'd also love to grow my own food...hello inner hippie...but I am all about it!

So to my surprise, my mindless 30 minutes of TV when I got home today actually paid off! Ellen, oh she is the best! Ellen did a segment on home farming, this is something I could really get into I think? The statistics are amazing, we really could wipe out hunger in this country if cities joined this movement. Sorry for the political diversion, but it's true....and hello saving on the grocery bill who doesn't want that!

So check out the movement below...

Neutral Baby Room

So yet another friend is having a baby, but she isn't finding out which makes the challenge of designing the nursery pretty great. Baby Bedding tends to be either pink, or blue. Yuck...I am getting inspired to start my own baby bedding line....who wants to fund me? Here is one concept for the neutral baby....
