Chalk it up!

Ok, ok, my top two readers....your special edition blog is on hold. So today we get chalkboard paint. I have loved Chalkboard paint since 2000 when I went to an amazing showhouse in Jacksonville, Fl. I have had dreams of a kitchen in chalk ever since...just never done it! I am going to paint my laundry room door, i figure it will give me my "fix" and it will be useful. 2010 is all about useful, functional design for me! Yikes...it's 2010 already!

So it has been almost a month since I blogged last....slacker maybe, Exhausted from working two jobs definitely! Anyways ladies sorry for the lack of blogging I hope to be inspired and bring you lots of juicy stuff in 2010. I have been busy organizing for many different home projects recently, so hopefully something good will come out of that! So stay tuned.

While I was away the past month I have been working for one of my favorite stores of all time, Anthropologie! Being around all the cool stuff and the fun people was great, working at the mall however was not great! Anyways I did pick up a tip for you all about a new store owned by the brillant people at Anthro/Urban...it is called Terrain and is fabulous! Here are a few pics from their website....Enjoy.

Tis the season....

Only once a year can you get these delicious treats, and I am so excited that it is that time of year! I have been an egg nog lover my whole life and have never understood why I can't get it year round? But my belly thanks the holiday makers of such treats. I sipped on my Sugar Plum Spice tea this afternoon, it is the best! I was NEVER a tea drinker, but this specialty changed my mind years ago. New to the list are Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate Covered Peppermint Joe Joe's.....the Christmas solution to Girl Scout Thin Mints....HEAVENLY! Go get yourself some and have it with egg nog and sugar plum tea, you will be in a Holiday Heavenly Coma afterwords. But it will be well worth it.
